More proof that awful people don’t go away, they just get book deals: Carrie Prejean, former Miss California and the runner-up in this year’s Miss USA pageant who publicly tussled with Perez Hilton over gay marriage, just nailed herself a book deal.
Still Standing, out this November, will tell the story of the 22-year-old beauty queen’s scrapes and misadventures as she gets her boob job paid for by the Miss California Organization, defends herself against topless pics, says gays don’t deserve the same rights as straight people, and eventually loses her crown for “contract violations.”
Oh, joy! We’ll try to get our hands on a copy of Still Standing and share the gift that is sure to keep on giving…in the b.s. department. [US News]
