Ever Wonder What Editors Fashion Show Notes Look Like?

Editor Glenn O’Brien (once of Interview magazine, Rolling Stone, High Times and now a blogger on men.style.com, among other endeavors) let’s us in on his mostly nonsensical, sometimes hilarious notes (he actually uses the word “ass plate” in descriptive terms) from the last ready-to-wear shows in Milan and Paris. The scribbles were mostly made in the dark, so he claims they “read like code and are skewed at an odd angle in a weird hand reminiscent of the webs researchers recorded after giving spiders LSD. I swear it was just the darkness, and maybe a little Champagne.” Readable or not, I always wonder what those front-row editors are scrawling in their chic, little books—so get a load Glenn’s wack-job thoughts on collections from Hussein Chalayan, Fendi, Max Mara, Roberto Cavalli, Givenchy, etc. [Style Guy Blog]
