Janet and Jane Cunliffe look like twins. But they’re not: they’re mother and daughter. Janet (on the left) is 22 years older than Jane. But she couldn’t handle that—so after losing a few pounds and dying her hair, she fell down a rabbit hole of plastic surgery sure to scar her daughter for life. Here’s what she had done…Boob job: $6,000
Second boob job after the first ruptured: $3,750
Nose job and eye lift: $7,500, plus a trip to Croatia
Lip injections: $450
Blond hair extensions: $900
To justify her actions, Janet says, “‘It might sound barmy that I had cosmetic surgery to look like my daughter, but she’s gorgeous. Who wouldn’t want to look like her? The way I see it is that she got her looks from me in the first place—mine have just faded with age.” [Daily Mail]
Have you ever heard of an old dude spending this kind of dough (during a recession no less) to look like his son? No, because men don’t lose their cultural sex appeal with age. Women have it rough as they get older, and are expected to put their sexuality on the back burner. It’s healthy to rebel against that…but not this way. Strut your stuff the way you were meant to be, so your daughter doesn’t feel the need to get surgeries when she creeps into middle age.
What do you think?
