The Real Housewives Of New Jersey?!

Some people pride themselves on achieving a degree, starting a business, or raising a family. But one of cast members of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” prides herself on being one of the first female American Express Black card members in Jersey. That’s Danielle Staub, a single mom who along with sisters Dina and Caroline Manzo, their sister-in-law Jacqueline Laurita, and friend Teresa Guidice are featured on Bravo’s fourth installment of “The Real Housewives” franchise. Since this bunch of gals is already connected, we won’t have to sit through those awkwardly staged, surprise introductions that occur on the other shows. We’re sure that with all this family drama these women will become frenemies in no time. Thank you Bravo for answering our prayers. Now we have something to hold us over until the real drama begins on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” season two.

We were kind of surprised the folks over at Bravo chose Jersey because the state isn’t really known for movers and shakers. No offense to all you Jersey girls out there, but even Bravo couldn’t come up with a major city to highlight for the show. But then again, “The Real Housewives of Newark,” New Jersey’s one major city, doesn’t fit the lap-of-luxury bill. Anyway, we came up with a list of cities we thought Bravo should take the franchise.

  • Dallas: Big hair, Big Boobs, Big Wallets
  • Chicago: This city begat our president and first lady. Need we say more?
  • Vail, Colorado: It’s a resort community, or, in other words, wealth, luxury, and pampering are considered pastimes.
