WWD revealed on Friday that Dsquared2 has created the wardrobe for Britney Spears’ Circus tour, which kicks off tomorrow in New Orleans. The label, which is designed by Canadian brothers Dan and Dean Caten, has been associated with tabloid queens before (Jessica Simpson, Fergie, Rihanna), and their Fall 2009 collection seems to reflect the starlets that wear their designs. The clothes hold a strong resemblance to what Mary-Kate Olsen might wear on a trip to pick up a tall sugar-free vanilla non-fat extra-ice blended latte at Starbucks: plaid shirts, lots of layers, ripped shorts, loads of bracelets, a huge bag, and big sunglasses. Isn’t it nice that the designers made their “Starlet Trash” look authentic by accessorizing with ‘bucks cups? Keep reading to see another photo from the show.
