The summer Olympics in Beijing were good to us Americans, but they were utterly amazing for swimmer Dara Torres. At 41 years old, Torres became the first woman to swim in the Olympics past the age of 40, and she is the first American female swimmer to compete in five Olympic games. But the woman didn’t just compete, she dominated: Torres took home three silver medals in her three events. You go, girl, er…woman!
