On last night’s “Weekend Update Thursday” — “Saturday Night Live”‘s special election coverage — Will Ferrell showed up to do a skit as George W. Bush, with Tina Fey as Sarah Palin. It was gosh darn hysterical and definitely a teaser for the material Ferrell is going to do in his upcoming comedy show, “You’re Welcome America — A Final Night With George W. Bush”, coming to Broadway in February 2009. One quibble about the skit — Tina’s new bangs are all wrong. [Variety]
