How To Wear Sheer Clothes So You Don’t Look Like A Hoochie

On the runways the last couple seasons, designers have been showing off models’ breasts with sheer tops and no bras in sight. Check out the NSFW see-through designs from last week’s London Fashion Week, then promise us you will never show your nipples in public.

  • If your top isn’t too transparent, you might be able to wear only a bra underneath, but if you feel like you’re showing too much, put on a seamless camisole. Sheer clothes are supposed to hint at sexiness, not give the whole farm away.
  • It’s way easier to pull off a sheer shirt if the chiffon has a colorful print on it, because it will distract people from your visible bra.
  • Some dresses and tops come equipped with opaque layers so you don’t have to worry about how much you’re showing — or the possibility of a wardrobe malfunction.
  • For those of you who don’t want to show too much in public, participate in the sheer trend privately with a lacy bra.
  • Transparent clothes aren’t the warmest, so layering with a gauzy featherweight merino wool cardigan is a good idea for fall.
