Last season, Whitney was the first plus-size Top Model winner. And this year Tyra has chosen the first transgender contestant, Isis. Will she get a fair chance or will her gender be the focal point for every episode?
Ugly Betty returns Sept. 25
After advice from Claire Meade, Betty realized that she does play it safe.
Gio made Betty an incredibly romantic offer to go to Rome, but Henry returned with a marriage proposal of his own.
Daniel’s illegitimate French son, Daniel, Jr., showed up at Mode, unexpectedly. And Willy leaked the news to the press.
Californication returns Sept. 28
Hank struggled with Karen’s impending wedding to Bill.
Bill told Mia he has no intention of allowing her book to be published.
Becca got her period and had to buy tampons with Hank.
Karen married Bill, but ran off to New York with Hank and Becca at the end of the episode.
The Office returns Sept. 25
Jim planned to propose to Pam at Toby’s going away party, but when Andy proposed to Angela in front of everyone at the party, Jim puts his ring back in his pocket.
Angela said, “Okay,” but Phyllis later caught Angela and Dwight getting it on in the Dunder Mifflin office.
Dirty Sexy Money returns Oct. 1
Nick learned that Karen and Simon are secretly seeing each other.
He spends a great deal of time trying to protect her from Simon’s dubious intentions, which suggested that he still had feelings for her, but then he asked Lisa to have another child.
Carmelita claimed to Patrick that she was being followed.
The chauffeur Clark tried to protect her, but she ends up kidnapped.
Juliet falls for a Frenchman, who might have taken her virginity.
Lipstick Jungle returns Sept. 24
Nico ignored Charles’s phone calls while she was having a romp with Kirby. She later learns that he had a heart attack.
One of Charles’s grad students comes to the hospital with his work and a note attached that reads, “Miss you.” Nico started to think he’s having an affair because the student is nearly in tears.
With the advice of Wendy and Victory, she decides to save her marriage.
Victory had some new admirers in the form of a hockey player and his wife. They started a threesome, but then the couple got into an argument over Victory, and she made her escape.
She realized that she missed Joe, who seemed happy she wanted him back, despite the woman in bed with him.
Wendy had to find a writer to finish a script on time so the production of a movie could start.
Real World/Road Rules Challenge: The Island returns Sept. 10
Some of our favorites and enemies return for this RW/RR Challenge that is like no other. In similar Survivor-style, the contestants are stranded on an island in the middle of nowhere. They have to not only survive, but also compete to win $300,000 in gold.
