Pineapple Express, the latest comedy from writer/producer Judd Apatow (Knocked Up, 40 Year Old Virgin), opened over the weekend. While the reviews considered it a heist caper, to us, it was a bromantic comedy featuring James Franco, Seth Rogan, and Danny McBride. Foxy Franco was briefly, but satisfyingly, shirtless, and readily able to express his bro-on-bro love to his buddies. Seth Rogan, on the other hand, never stops being adorable. He spends the film in a suit and then saves the day wearing nothing but tighty-whities and striped knee socks to the knee. Fresh meat Danny McBride is the new funny man making the rounds in Hollywood. You can catch more of him in action next in Tropic Thunder, which opens this weekend. But forget the fight sequences and car chases in this flick, as these three gentlemen espoused fart jokes, we swooned.
