First Female Nominated For Four Stars

There’s a new nominee for Four Star General and she kicks some serious butt! Lt. Gen. Ann E. Dunwoody worked her way up over a 33-year career in the Military to being in charge of supplies and rations and is already the top-ranking female in the US Military. But she didn’t stop there! Now, Ms. Dunwoody is officially the first female to be nominated for the position of Four Star General. “I am very honored but also very humbled today with this announcement,” said Dunwoody about the tribute. “This nomination only reaffirms what I have known to be true about the military throughout my career… the doors continue to open for men and women in uniform.” [CNN]
