  • This is a really sad story. A woman who was in a car accident was airlifted to a hospital and eventually died, survived by her husband, a four-year-old and a one-year-old. At some point when she was in the hospital, her engagement and wedding rings, which she designed, went missing. Now there’s a $20,000 award for them, because her husband wants her sons to have something that belonged to her. [CNN]

  • Researchers at Duke University did a study of adult male rhesus monkeys looking at monkey porn. They sat four male monkeys in front of computer screens and rewarded them with juice whenever they shifted their gaze from one image to another. When the subjects were given the choice between looking at a photo of a low-status male with a high juice reward and a photo of a female’s hindquarters, the monkeys chose to look at the girls instead of getting extra juice.
