Heath Ledger, who won loads of accolades for his performance in the Oscar-winning film Brokeback Mountain, has died of an alleged drug overdose. He was discovered by his housekeeper in his New York apartment. Ledger will be seen next (and possibly for the last time) as the Joker in the upcoming Batman film The Dark Knight alongside Christian Bale. He’s survived by his two-year old daughter (with ex-fiance Michelle Williams) Matilda. [WNBC]
